Watch: George Clooney Drops Incredible "Tomorrowland" Secrets

Whoa, you guys. George Clooney just revealed a super-cool Disney secret.

The A-lister sat down with E! News' Catt Sadler to talk about his upcoming film Tomorrowland, and when asked how he was pitched the elaborate film by director Brad Bird and writers Damon Lindelof and Jeff Jensen, Clooney shared a very "interesting" tale that illuminated an otherwise unknown plan that was never ultimately brought to life.

He tells us that they "came to my house with a box that they dug out of the archives at the basement at Disney. It said 1952 on the box. And they open it up and there's all these weird things, futuristic kinda things—futuristic in 1952—and a blueprint of Tomorrowland that they were gonna build. They had yet to build it."

Clooney continued, "And they said, 'But look at this,' and they took out a black light and they ran it over the top of this original…and there was a blueprint for an entire other Tomorrowland to be built under Tomorrowland and I go, 'This is crazy.' They say, 'This is wild.'"

First of all, how cool is it that there was a secret hidden blueprint on the original blueprint that's only visible under black light? Secondly, A TOMORROWLAND UNDER TOMORROWLAND?! Whoaaaaaa.

The 54-year-old star explains that this plan never came to life, "but it sort of inspired [Bird and Lindelof] with this idea of creating sort of another world and talking about a world inside a world."

"The idea was that there's such bad news out there and it's all bad news when you turn on the TV and it's hard after a while. It's hard on your soul. And he said, 'Let's do one that's really entertaining, and is positive.' And I said, 'Yeah, I think it's a good time to do that.'"

Tomorrowland, which also stars Hugh Laurie and Britt Robertson, hits theaters May 22.
