When you're one of country music's biggest selling artists, you can spend your summer anyway you want.

Some may perform in front of sold-out arenas night after night. Others may travel around the world for special vacations.

But if you're Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, chances are you're going to spend some time at home cooking up crazy memories.

"This year, we're planting tomatoes and strawberries to make jam," Lambert reveals in the June issue of Country Living available May 19. "I have a little downtime this summer, so I'm looking forward to this task."

She added, "My dad taught me to live off the land. I now have my own garden, but Blake is really the gardener."

Putting plants and fruits aside, Lambert is pretty obsessed with living far away from the Hollywood lights in Tishomingo, Okla. In fact, it helps her create memorable hits including "Over You" and "Little Red Wagon."

"I write best when I'm home on my porch with my guitar," Lambert said. "There's something calming about looking out at wide-open spaces and trees as far as you can see. The country is perfect for letting your mind drift to a creative place."

And even with 15 rescue animals roaming around her place, the blond beauty is ready to move into her brand-new home that will be Pinterest approved.

"A friend of mine recently said, ‘I can see your Pinterest boards, and all you have on there are dog rooms,'" Lambert admitted. "I'm like, okay, I probably need Miranda Lambert to move on to the laundry room."

Better make sure there's room for the jam too!
