Ciara Gushes About New Boyfriend Russell Wilson, Says ''Everything Happens for a Reason''

Singer gushed about her newest love interest

Ciara has that look of love!

During an interview with Hot 97, the singer opened up about the new romance in her life with Seattle Seahawks' Russell Wilson.

But before she spilled (some) of the beans about her relationship, the new mama admitted that she's fully moved on from her ex Future.

"Men take breakups a little different," she divulged. "I don't wish it on anybody…Women, we go through our healing process right away. Men, they take a moment to go and fight away the feeling. [But] I'm moving at my timing that works for me."

Ciara wanted to keep coy about Wilson—although her ear-to-ear grin did little to hide her happiness—but she did have one thing to say about the professional athlete.

"He's an awesome person…Everything in life is about timing."

And when asked whether or not she has a type, or a pattern that she looks for in a partner, Ciara admitted she most certainly does.

"I've always had this thing for a rebel. I was pretty consistent."

Meanwhile, a source tells E! News that despite keeping coy about the blossoming relationship, Ciara and Wilson are "going strong."

We're told that the two have been doing their best to keep in close contact while she's on tour, and while he's back in Seattle, and have been FaceTiming every single day.
