And the aftermath from the "Fight of the Century" continues...

Three days after Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao faced off in the ring at the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas in a much buzzed-about fight which saw Mayweather beat the Filipino boxing champion, the 38-year-old American professional boxer has thrown some major shade at his former opponent.

"19 years in the fight game and I've had one excuse: "Don't have an excuse". Winners win and losers have excuses," the undefeated champion tweeted on Tuesday alongside an image in which he's making a No. 1 sign with his right hand.

Mayweather's tweet appears to be in response to the recent drama surrounding Pacquiao's shoulder injury, which he allegedly failed to disclose before the fight.

A lawsuit has since been filed by Stephane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran on behalf of themselves "and the putative class" alleging that Pacquiao, his manager Michael Koncz, promoter Top Rank and Top Rank founder Bob Arum committed consumer fraud by not revealing to the Nevada State Athletic Commission beforehand that Pacquiao had injured his right shoulder in an April 4 sparring session (Pacquiao's attorney, Daniel Petrocelli, told E! News, "There is no factual or legal basis to the case and we will seek its prompt dismissal."). Koncz told reporters on Monday that Pacquiao will be undergoing surgery to repair a tear below his rotator cuff.

Prior to the lawsuit being filed, Pacquiao's camp responded to the controversy and insisted he was given the OK by doctors to step into the boxing ring.

"During training, Manny Pacquiao suffered a right shoulder injury. Manny went to see world-class doctors, partners in the prestigious Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic,  who performed tests and, in consultation with Manny, his promoter, and his advisors, concluded that with short rest, treatments, and close monitoring, Manny could train and, on May 2, step into the ring against Floyd Mayweather."

"His shoulder wasn't perfect but it had improved in training camp. However, as Manny has said multiple times, he makes no excuses. Manny gave it his best," the statement read.

Additionally, there is speculation that Mayweather may be responding to a Photoshopped pic that has been making the rounds on Instagram in which Pacquiao appears to be holding a sign that says, "Someone needs to tell Mayweather he's supposed to hug his wife and punch me in the ring, not the other way around" (Mayweather was recently slapped with a $20 million lawsuit from ex Josie Harris, with whom he was involved in a domestic violence incident back in 2010).

The pic in question, however, is an altered image, as the original appears to show Pacquiao holding a sign in support of rock band Siakol and The Youth's U.K. tour.
