What can we expect from Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce?

Well, from the few sneak peeks that we've seen, there will be tears, but Kim Kardashian explains that the two-part special is more than just a televised viewing of the famous family's emotional roller coaster. It's a way for families who are going through the same thing to connect and learn.

(At this time, Bruce Jenner is choosing to not live publicly in the media as a woman and will be referred to as Bruce Jenner and with male pronouns until he specifies otherwise.)

"It was important for him to capture these moments so that people can understand—first of all, our special is more about our emotions and you see Bruce telling some of us for the first time and every family member has a different reaction," the brunette beauty tells E! News' Alicia Quarles during her Selfish book signing at Barnes & Noble in New York.

"We all love and support him no matter what, but it is a hard adjustment. And I think its really informative for other families who are going through this. I think people will learn a lot and understand its OK to have every emotion, and at the end of the day, I don't know if you'd say 'normal family' but we're a family that goes through so much," Kim adds.

"We just support each other through everything, but there is a learning curve, there is an adjustment period. And, at this moment when we were filming, it was a period of time when it was first starting to happen and it was really raw and real for us, so some family members have a harder time and you just see our journey. We just filmed it to help other families going through what we're going through."

Bruce told the world, "For all intents and purposes, I am a woman," last month and also said that Kim was the "most accepting" of the news. During the 20/20 special with Diane Sawyer, Bruce recalled how Kanye West helped Kim understand Bruce's situation.

It also seems the 34-year-old star is helping her other family members accept Bruce's transition, as she was recorded talking to her mom, Kris Jenner, in another clip released from the upcoming two-part special. "He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like 'whoa, this isn't my body. This doesn't feel comfortable,'" Kim tells her mom.

Part one of the E! special premieres Sunday, May 17, at 9:00 p.m., with part two following the next day, Monday, May 18, at 9:00 p.m.
