Upon preparing for baby Israel's highly anticipated arrival, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard got together with their famous family to get their little boy's living quarters together.

In this sneak peek from 19 Kids & Counting, the two lovebirds anxiously begin to get the nursery ready for their first child together, and along with getting excited for their new addition, the whole process just reminded the newlyweds of what they have to look forward to.

"It is really starting to get more real, looking at everything coming together and of course, so fast. Yeah, it's really exciting," Jill says in the clip.

Meanwhile, her hubby spoke about the new things he would learn as a father—like changing diapers.

"The nursery turned out really well, I think we got everything we needed. We got a crib, you know it's important to have a place for the baby to sleep, a changing pad on top of the dresser so its neat having a sturdy place to change a diaper…where I can actually learn how to change a diaper, because I haven't done that before," he says.

"A few times after we've finished the room, we walk back and forth and just stop at the room and we're looking at it and think this is really cool, this is his room. And we got everything ready, we just don't have a baby in the room yet. So that's the only thing."

Of course, we all have now been introduced to their adorable baby boy, who was born in April after a 70-hour labor. And, Derick did get his hands dirty and change a few diapers.

In a recent blog post, Derick reveals that when their son gets fussy, he runs through "a list of possible solutions." These are: "1) Ask him what's wrong, and then remember that babies can't talk 2) Change diaper 3) Burp him 4) Bounce him 5) Give him to momma Jill to feed 6) Repeat until crying stops."

"It has been a fast and furious transition, but I wouldn't trade it for anything," he added. "And as for my wife, well, she is a champion."
