The Flash has already answered some major questions this season in advance of the finale, but one mystery has remained so shrouded in secrecy, we wondered if we would ever get answers about it.

No, we're not talking about why Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) is so dead set on killing Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), or anything that happens in Barry's future. We aren't even talking about how Iris West (Candice Patton) becomes Iris West-Allen! Nope, the biggest mystery that's been plaguing us since the S.T.A.R. Labs team caught their first metahuman prisoner and locked 'em up in the pipeline underneath their lab...how on earth are they getting fed?!

It may be our maternal instincts kicking in, but we're really worried about the well-being of these metahumans. If they have to spend the rest of their lives locked up in a 10x10 box, the least that the Flash team can do is feed them properly. We're not asking for much here!

And now we finally have our answer! E! News has an exclusive first look at a very important deleted scene from tonight's episode, "Grodd Lives," that shows exactly how all the metahumans have been fed this entire time on the show...and it's actually quite extravagant. And we're maybe a little bit jealous of it...apart from the whole, being-a-prisoner thing.

This scene was originally shot and slated to appear in tonight's episode, but will not actually air since it was unfortunately cut for time. But since fans have been oh-so-anxiously waiting to finally get an answer to this question, The Flash showrunners decided to release it to us to debut it exclusively. You are so welcome.
