Last month, Tennessee woman Barbara Tatge ran her first Boston Marathon. During the race she did something silly and spontaneous after her daughter Paige dared her: She kissed a man she'd never met before.

After locking lips, the PDA pic of Barbara and the man went viral. Barbara and Paige soon waged a viral campaign to find the man in question so Barbara could see if sparks flew. There's only one problem: the man is married with a wife.

But don't freak out, this story actually has a happy ending. It turns out that despite swapping smooches with Barbara during the marathon, the unnamed man's wife wasn't mad at all. She even wrote a letter to Barbara to let her know there's no hard feelings.

"We all thought this story was hilarious, because it is just like my husband to do that," the man's wife said in her letter. "It was one of many memorable stories from a great weekend in Boston."

She went on, "While this may not be the ending that you had hoped for, that spontaneous, silly moment in Wellesley captured the fun energy and spirit of the Boston Marathon. I greatly admire your spunk and courage and wish you many happy races in the future." Aw!

Before finding out the man was married, Barbara expressed concern that he might have a wife or a girlfriend. "I would want his wife to know I was definitely the aggressor," she told AOL recently. "I mean, I approached him, you know?"

"I'd like to find out who he is, regardless of how this all turns out," Barbara added. "Am I kicking myself? Maybe just a little."
