If there's anybody out there claiming to have never cried in public before, you're lying to yourself—and the world.

Breaking down in tears at a moment's notice is basically a regular part of life these days, especially if you're living and working in a big city. Many New Yorkers even have designated cry zones; bodegas to pop into or particularly busy street corners where they can go to cry in (relative) peace. But now a hotel in Tokyo is setting out to change all that.

According to The Daily Mail, the Mitsui Garden Yotsuya has set up crying rooms targeted specifically to women looking to let out a few emotions. Basically they're designed to let people who need a bit of a release do their crying in peace—the room setup even goes so far as to encourage the crying.

The hotel comes equipped with sad movies like Forrest Gump, luxury tissues, eye makeup remover and even steam eye masks to de-puff after your session is through. There's no word on whether concierge will arrange for photos of your old boyfriends or childhood pets to be brought in, but we imagine that there are some BYO-items allowed.

The special runs through the end of the summer and offers the cry rooms for a relatively low $83 a night, which is a pretty good investment for what is sure to be an extremely cathartic night. Or you could just rent Forrest Gump yourself and scroll through Facebook in your own bed. Whatever works.
