While the 2015 Met Gala may now be behind us, we've still got plenty on our minds—like Rihanna's unforgettable Guo Pei robe (it took four train handlers to carry!), or Beyoncé's jaw-dropping entrance just as the red carpet wrapped (one hour late!).
Not surprisingly (since the event was Anna Wintour-approved), the gala was a well-oiled fashion machine. And that means meticulous planning and excruciating attention to detail—oh, and apparently a massive amount of foliage.
As for the woman responsible for fashion's most extravagant night out? That's none other than Vogue's Director of Special Events Sylvana Durrett. E!'s own Alicia Quarles caught up with the woman of the evening on everything from the number crunch that goes into creating the event to experiencing the party first-hand.
"It was such a great room, we had Rihanna and Beyoncé and Kim and Kanye. It was every big star from music and film," Durrett said. "The best thing about this night is you put together all these people from different industries. It's a magical moment."
