Watch: Rumer Willis Aspires to Improve on Perfection

It takes a lot to move Val Chmerkovskiy to tears. The Dancing With the Stars professional dancer told E! News' Maria Menounos he "never cried in my entire life," but he was moved to tears after last Monday's show with Rumer Willis.

"Man, I just felt so bad. When did this process become so intense? Yes, it's difficult, yes, it's a struggle, but it should be a happy struggle," Val told us after watching Rumer's struggles last week. "I felt like I'd sucked all the joy out of it and I didn't want to be that. I just felt so bad. And then we almost got eliminated and I felt even more guilty. Everything hit and I just started crying because she deserves better. I made a conscious effort to be better this week and it paid off."

Boy did it pay off. The couple received two perfect scores: a 40 for their Rumba and a 40 for their trio dance. So where do they go from here? Could they face elimination tonight? "I try not to think about it," Rumer said. "Last week was definitely scary…I know now we've gotten two perfect scores in a night and I want to keep finding ways to improve on that in myself and just keep getting better still."

So what's next for Rumer? "I'm going to keep dancing forever," she said. "This is it." For more on her plans—and whether she'd be able to get mom Demi Moore to join Dancing With the Stars—check out the video above.

Dancing With the Stars' double elimination happens tonight—Tuesday, May 5—at 8 p.m. on ABC.
