Although David Letterman is retiring before President Barack Obama, the two have decided to make plans together for when they have a little more free time.

POTUS stopped by for his final appearance The Late Show With David Letterman Monday to celebrate the host's final episodes and pitched an awesome idea for when they both find themselves a little bored. "I was thinking you and me could play some dominoes together and we could go to the local Starbucks and swap stories," said Obama.

Letterman pretty much jumped at the opportunity to play the oldest game alive with the president. (Just kidding, he didn't LOL.) But he did admit that he is "pretty good" at the game even though Obama apparently doesn't believe him.

But the late-night host did reveal a secret that Obama had dished to him during the commercial break! There are no secrets here, Mr. President. The 68-year-old spilled that Obama would be taking only one month off when his presidency comes to an end.

One. Month. Even Letterman couldn't believe it!

Eight years as president and you take only one month's vacation?! More power to you. But while Obama is vacationing, playing dominoes and frequenting various Starbucks locations, Letterman quipped that he would be teaching law at Columbia University.

"I'd be interested in sitting in on that class," Obama joked. "That would be a hoot."

Although the two men bantered back and forth about their inevitable retirement plans, Obama ended his visit with an emotional speech about how he and wife Michelle Obama have "grown up" with his show.

"It has meant so much," POTUS gushed. "You're part of all of us. You've given us a great gift and we love you."

FLOTUS also stopped by for her final appearance recently and also discussed potential retirement plans. "I think we should hang out together," she said. "You'll have a couple of years. We could do things. I would help you raise your children."
