Twinning!

Jessica Simpson's daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson rang in her third birthday May 1, and while she's still just a young tot, it's not hard to see the gorgeous resemblance she has to her mom! The singer-turned-fashion designer Instagrammed a beautiful black-and-white photo of herself with her daughter, and it's #flawless.

"May 1 my Maxi Drew turned 3.... I am in complete denial," she captioned the pic.

Like mother like daughter! Seriously, the genes between Simpson and hubby Eric Johnson produced gorgeous children. But it's also the "With You" singer who has been turning heads as of late. Over the weekend she celebrated her daughter's big day with a trip to a Toys R Us in Los Angeles and flaunted incredibly toned legs in a pair of jaw-dropping short shorts.

The 34-year-old looked phenomenal in her daisy dukes, which shouldn't be a surprise because she has donned a pair like that before on the big screen! She rounded out her sexy look with a black blazer and top along with a pair of killer red platform heels that had a floral pattern. She accessorized with a red leather bag. The casual outfit looked amazing on her and flaunted her incredible body.

She oft posts pics of herself donning her favorite pair of denim shorts, most recently flaunting her figure—and some PDA—on Easter Sunday. Johnson clearly couldn't handle how good his wife looked and planted a big kiss on her, which she then uploaded to the photo-sharing platform.

Savannah Guthrie of Today asked the shoe designer about her sometimes-NSFW pics and she gushed, "Those kind of happen sometimes," the mother of two said with a grin. "I am not shy to be in love with my husband!"

She continued to dish to the morning show co-anchors about how happy she is with her life and family, and even revealed that her two kids inspire her "to be a better, harder working mom." She also told Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, "I really do feel like I'm in the best place of my life."
