If you ever ask Josh Dallas about being a dad, chances are he's going to light up.

Sure, he's had a few sleepless nights. And yes, the baby boy keeps him occupied at all times. But without question, the Once Upon a Time star wouldn't want it any other way.

"It's the best! Sleep is elusive but it's all good," Dallas recently told E! News. "He's the greatest person I know and he makes me laugh every day and he keeps me busy."

Busy in a way that you just never know where he's going to explore next. At 10 months old, baby Oliver is beginning to discover the wonderful world of walking. As a result, Dallas and wife Ginnifer Goodwin keep their eyes peeled.

"He's moving and grooving," the actor joked while being interviewing at The Grove shopping center. "He wants to get out and go. He wants to go everywhere."

He added, "I'm more overprotective than I thought I would be for sure but I think that's probably a good thing."

Away from the house, Dallas and Goodwin play husband and wife on the small screen in the hit ABC series Once Upon a Time. While the twosome already has two kids in the show, we had to ask if there are any plans to expand their brood further.

Turns out, you may just have to watch Sundays at 8 p.m. "Who knows, I don't know," Dallas shared. "We will see what the writers do. It could be a dragon."

Away from the cameras, the 33-year-old father is already thinking of growing his real-life family. In fact, a sibling for little Oliver doesn't sound so bad at all.

"Yah, I think so," he told Ali Fedotowsky when asked if more kids are in the future. "Maybe somewhere down the road. We'd like to give this guy a brother or a sister for sure. Close in age would be nice….Have a little buddy."
