A video has surfaced of a man resembling and identifying himself as Chad L. Coleman, known for roles on The Wire and The Walking Dead, screaming and unleashing an expletive-filled rant at fellow passengers on a Brooklyn-bound New York City subway train.

The clip, which a person seems to have recorded on a cell phone, was posted on TMZ on Friday. The outlet reported that the incident took place that day.

A rep for Coleman, who played fan favorite Tyreese on the AMC series and also portrayed Cutty on The Wire, had no immediate comment. TMZ on Saturday quoted the actor as saying he wanted to apologize to his family and The Walking Dead cast members and that he was not drunk during his rant.

The website reported that he said he had a lot of "built up frustration" because of the situation in Baltimore, where hundreds of people had protested and even rioted over the past week following the death of Freddie Gray, a black man who suffered spinal injuries while in police custody. TMZ also quoted Coleman as saying that he lost his temper after a person on the train used a racial slur while talking about him.

"I want to know where my humanitarians are!" the man screams, standing up inside the train as passengers sit and stare at him. "Yes, I'm Chad L. Coleman, I'm on The WireThe Walking Dead, I'm not trying to [expletive]...with you, I'm telling you the truth. Yes, I'm an actor."

He repeats his name and TV credits and says, "I'm not faking it!"

"Where. Is. Your. Humanity? Where is it brother?" he asks. "Don't tell me I'm making this up. A humanitarian. If you care, [expletive] care! And that's the G-d-damn truth!"

He then appeared to calm down and continued to talk in a lower tone of voice to passengers while sitting on a seat in an empty row.

A day before the video was posted, Coleman posted an Instagram post that referenced "humanity."

Be good to each other. #humanity #love #thoughtfortheday
