Add Jane Fonda to the long list of celebs praising Bruce Jenner.

The Oscar winner was among the 17 million people who tuned into the Olympian's interview with Diane Sawyer.

"It's fantastic, very brave," Fonda told me last night at the premiere of her new Netflix series, Grace and Frankie. "I wish him well on his journey. I think it's great that he's sharing it with us."

Fonda's co-star Lily Tomlin added, "I think it was good and brave."

(At this time, Jenner has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)

E! News confirmed earlier today that Jenner is planning to return to motivational speaking.

In Grace and Frankie, Fonda and Tomlin play frenemies who grow close after their husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) announce they're in love with each other and plan to get married.

Was it a coincidence that last night's premiere came just days after the Supreme Court heard arguments about same-sex marriage?

Tomlin teased that "we might have planned it" that way.

"I think they're going to rule in favor of same-sex marriage," said Tomlin, who married her partner of 43 years Jane Wagner about 15 months ago.

Grace and Frankie's 13-episode premiere season will available on Netflix on May 8.
