Moms are amazing. They do it all, and somehow manage to never show how stressful it is to do it all. We have our moms to thank for pretty much everything, from our knack for sarcasm to the fact that we are alive in the first place.

So can you put a price on how much you love your mom? According to Starbucks, you can. And that price is $200. That's not so staggering, if you're buying her two dozen roses from the nicest florist in town or a really high-end massage.

But what if we told you that money would get you only a gift card...for $50?

We know what you're thinking: "Okay, Starbucks is just really bad at math." But unfortunately that's not the case, and they simply think this is an appropriate price to pay. What the gift is, exactly, is a specially-designed Starbucks Card (with "laser-etched floral details and satin ceramic finish") that comes "packaged in a beautiful gift box with matching design." Oh and it's a limited-edition card and box.

Are you sold yet? Probably not. Because as much as Starbucks tries to dazzle us with fancy words and promises of laser etching, it's still a $50 gift card that costs $200. And whichever way you look at it, that's ridiculous.

But of course if you love your mom enough, you'll buy it anyway. Isn't your mom special enough for a $200 piece of plastic?
