Stacey Dash is clueless when it comes to a lot of topics and this week her hot button issue is pay inequality. See the thing is, she doesn't believe in it.

The 48-year-old Clueless star appeared on The Meredith Vieira Show this week and made some controversial comments on the fact that women are paid 78 cents to every dollar that men make.

"It's an excuse. Stop making excuses. If there are opportunities, seize them," Dash argued. "And be prepared for them. And be the best, if that's what it takes. If you have to be extraordinary, be extraordinary."

She added, "I guess I won't put my fate into anything other than my own action and taking my destiny in my hands. I will not be a victim...If you want to be pissed off about it, then be pissed off about it and work harder for it. But I don't think us, you know, complaining about it, because there was a law passed that we get paid equal pay."

Despite getting lots of backlash for her controversial comments, Dash took to Twitter to defend her position. "I am so proud that my FRIEND @meredithvieira & I have sparked an HONEST debate. NOT just a grandstanding Oscar speech," she tweeted referencing Patricia's Arquette's famous Oscars speech.

".@meredithvieira is my friend. I LOVE having discussions w/ her on @MeredithShow. When we disagree it does not mean we are tense #GrownUps," she wrote.

"The 77 cents vs a dollar is based on B.S. statistics. STOP USING IT. CELEBRATE that EDUCATED women in their 20's now make more than men!" she continued, adding, "I'm for equality of OPPORTUNITY. NOT equality of OUTCOME. That is the FALSE PROMISE of Liberalism. It is a con on society."

Dash concluded, "Hey @meredithvieira, look what we did! I love you and I respect you. Thank you for having me on the @MeredithShow! #FriendsCanDisagree."
