Fawn + Schmidt = "Fawmidt" a.k.a. the worst mashed-up couple name ever?
We're heading into finale season, people, and you know what that means: it's time for a proposal!
On Tuesday's all-new episode of New Girl, it looks like one of the loft gang is about to get married. And who should you be addressing your engagement gift to? Schmidt (Max Greenfield)! But it's not exactly a celebration-worthy proposal.
In our exclusive sneak peek at "Panty Gate," you'll get to see his politician GF Fawn Moscato (Zoe Lister Jones) propose marriage to Schmidt, but you won't exactly go weak in the knees.
So why is Fawn proposing to Schmidt, when they just started dating a few weeks ago? Two words: Panty gate, which Zoe and Max adorably tease in our sneak peek at the episode. "Schmidt becomes the Good Wife and stands by his woman in her time of need," Zoe says of the fallout from her character's decision not to wear underwear at a golf tournament in the last episode. Who knew New Girl and The Good Wife would be the crossover we never knew we always needed?!
And in case you missed the good news, New Girl was picked up for a fifth season by Fox, and production has already begun on the new episodes to accommodate star Zooey Deschanel's pregnancy, which will not be written into the show.
"A lot is different, so that's kind of exciting for the gang to get into," Hannah Simone previews of what fans can expect from the new season. "A bit of a different landscape, different relationships." And Lamorne Morris teases the return of a fan-favorite: his character Prank Sinatra!
