Cara Delevingne is making her mark on several industries!
The supermodel-turned-actress just won the CinemaCon Rising Star Award for her work on John Green's latest book-to-film adaptation, Paper Towns, and even she's a little surprised by it! The actress opened up to E! News about her win and her upcoming movie and said, "I can't actually believe it."
She was so caught of guard, in fact, that she thought it was a trick! "I was like, 'You're kidding me. It must be a prank,'" she said.
It looks like she and co-star Nat Wolff, who appeared in Green's other film adaptation, The Fault in Our Stars, have developed quite a rapport throughout their time together because he couldn't stop mocking her reaction!
"I love imitating Cara's voice," he dished.
If their off-screen chemistry is this good, we can only imagine how amazing they'll be onscreen! Although they did give us some insight into how the movie might turn out.
"It might be really bad," Delevingne joked. "It won't be really bad. I know it'll be really special. I'm just yanking your chain."
Although they haven't seen it yet, Wolff explained that he can "usually tell" whether or not something is going to turn out well, and he has a feeling that Paper Towns will blow everyone away.
"It was a really great experience and you could tell it was going to be something special," Wolff dished.
But will it be as good as TFIOS?!
"It's very romantic in the way that people love John Green, but it's also really funny and wild in the way the other one wasn't," he said. "I love Fault in Our Stars, but I think I like this even better."
If you haven't read Paper Towns, the story follows Quentin "Q" Jacobsen (Wolff) as he falls for the girl next door, Margo Roth Spiegelman (Delevingne). But by the time they reach high school, they run in different circles. To Q's surprise, Margo appears at his window one night and asks him to help her seek revenge on the school's popular crowd. The next morning, Margo goes missing, and Q is determined to find her.
