Remember how Kim Kardashian was supposedly "inconsolable" following her Dancing With the Stars elimination? Well, at least she held it together long enough to eke out a few interviews, which is more than we can say for Toni Braxton.

For the first time (at least in our memory), DWTS' latest castoff completely ditched the waiting members of the press after tonight's show. No reason was given for the disappearing act (and no men wielding wands, top hats or rabbits were spotted at the scene).

Still, beind the scenes, Toni's costars had much to say (some of it not so nice) about her surprising dismissal, including the real reason she went home. And we were on set to get all the dish...

"See what happens when you don't vote?!" Lance Bass scolded you fans from backstage tonight. "I think it was one of those things where everyone thought [Toni] was comfortable in the middle, and they didn't vote because they thought she was safe."

"Every week it gets harder and harder to say goodbye, it's like a family," Cody Linley tells us, admitting his own mother voted for Toni last night. (Ooh, Mama Linley, that's cold!) Lacey Schwimmer adds that Toni was like the mother of the family backstage. "She took care of everyone."

Of course, we can't forget about crazy Cloris Leachman, whom our Vegas oddsmaker and you (and pretty much everyone else watching this show) predicted would be sent packing. In what we can only assume is all in good fun, Cloris told us of Toni, "I never liked her until now." Girlfight! (And for the record, my money's on Toni.)

Meanwhile, Maurice Greene was regretting the competitive jabs he made in last night's show, which he insists were not his own doing but rather prompted by the producers. "Now I'm mad they made me say that stuff, talking about her shaking her booty out the door. Toni, I'm sorry!"

Are you sorry to see Toni go? And what do you think of her skipping out early? Too shocked to speak over it all, or did she forgot to put money in the meter?
