It's true—kids say the darndest things.

If Michelle Obama had forgotten that fun fact she received a quick reminder Wednesday when some kids were visiting the White House for Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day. She was meeting with a group of children during a Q&A session when one little girl got the mic and asked FLOTUS a pretty bold question: "How old are you?"

Although the expression "a woman never tells her age" might come to mind, the First Lady decided to forego that age-old adage and appeased the young girl by revealing, "I'm 51." The anonymous girl's response, however, was so amazing, that FLOTUS requested she not only repeat it but also use the microphone so everyone could hear!

"You're too young for 51!" the girl had exclaimed.

Talk about a compliment of a lifetime! Flattered, Obama called the girl up onstage to thank her and gave her a big hug. She was so excited by the girl's response that we're surprised Obama didn't get up and dance. She has been known to show off her moves on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (twice!) in order to promote her Let's Move initiative, which aims to combat childhood obesity, and even popped up dancing on children's network Sprout.

Appearing on the Sunny Side Up Show, President Barack Obama's wife danced and sang a special version of the network's "Happy Birthday" song, not to celebrate turning 51, but rather to honor her initiative's fifth birthday!

Just as Obama was super pumped to hear she looks too young to be 51, Chica the squeaking chicken puppet was freaking out over FLOTUS' presence onset. They performed five dance moves together, including a disco-style one.

The mom of two also has strutted her stuff on the dance floor of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where host Ellen DeGeneres usually takes the lead with daily dance parties. But when you put those two together, it's the dance party of your dreams.
