Anyone else need a cold shower?!

Tonight's Arrow left us feeling all kinds of flustered, and it's all thanks to a certain long-awaited, much-buzzed-about hookup between...SPOILER ALERT! Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Oliver (Stephen Amell)!

That's right, it wasn't a dream, it wasn't a hallucination, it wasn't a metahuman shapeshifter (ahem, we're still a little mad at you for pulling that one, The Flash!). It was real. Real life. It really happened. Yaaaaaasssss!

In case you want to relive those awesome moments over and over and over again, we're just going to leave this here for you:

Sigh. You're welcome.

So how did this hot hookup finally come about? After Oliver brought Thea (Willa Holland), who was on death's doorstep after Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) ran her through with his sword, to Nanda Parbat for a dip in the Lazarus Pit, Oliver had to accept Ra's' offer to become Al Sah-Him, Heir to the Demon. In order to fully give himself to the League of Assassins, he had to say goodbye to everyone who knew him as Oliver Queen and the Arrow.

And after a lengthy chat in which Felicity got quite sassy with Ra's (and we loved every moment of her attitude tonight), Ra's gave Felicity the push she needed to finally drop those three little words on Oliver: "I love you." Eeeee! Of course, that immediately led to an intense, sexy, and quite honestly emotional hookup between the longtime allies, friends and loves.

And because Felicity is Felicity, she kept the good times rolling by drugging Oliver immediately after their bedroom romp, intending to sneak him out of Nanda Parbat and back home safely, but when that plan failed, she had to leave with Diggle (David Ramsey), Malcolm (John Barrowman), and the newly-resurrected (but feeling quite amnesiac, confused and not herself) Thea.

Expect those mysterious side effects to continue for Thea now that she's used the Lazarus Pit to come back from the dead.

"You can expect that there will be more consequences," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told E! News along with a small group of reporters after screening the episode, "The Fallen," early. "We established very clearly that the Lazarus Pit returns you, but not always in the condition in which you left, so there's a lot of stories to be told with Thea and her recovery."

And now that Team Arrow is returning to Starling City without their leader, they're going to be struggling with how to move forward.

"That's actually the emotional currency of [episode] 21," Guggenheim says. "The character journey of 21 is how the hell Team Arrow moves forward without Oliver and it's a different circumstance in 21, than it was in 10. In 10, they thought he was dead and in many ways that was a whole lot easier."

Cate Cameron/The CW

He continues, "Knowing that he's out there and alive, but a member of the League of Assassins, that's a whole lot harder. I think 21 is one of our most emotional episodes because—I'll spoil a little bit of 21 and say—321 is a villain of the week episode, and it just so happens that the villain of the week is Oliver."

Does that mean there's no hope left for Oliver to return to being the hero he's spent three seasons becoming?

"The last three episodes spend a lot of time addressing the question of is there hope for Oliver?," Guggenheim says. "Is there hope for Oliver in Felicity's mind? [Episodes] 21 and 22 have some very specific things to say about that, and Felicity's coming to grips with the conclusion of episode 20."

So don't despair, Olicity fans, this hookup isn't the end of your 'ship of choice. Also giving us hope for Olicity in the future? The fact that Guggenheim flat-out confirms that Ray (Brandon Routh) and Felicity are O-V-E-R after their breakup earlier in tonight's episode.

"They're pretty well and truly kiboshed," Guggenheim says of Raylicity. "I will say they do have a very meaningful exchange in episode 22, but we're not going to do an off-again-on-again-off-again thing with them. Romantically, this is where we leave them, but their scene in 22, regardless of who you ship or whatever and people's feelings about Ray and Felicity, there's a lot of chemistry between Brandon and Emily, even when they're broken up."

But still heed our advice, Ray: Hands off the blonde IT girl. Or else.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW.
