Price William and Kate Middleton's daughter is here! "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8:34 a.m.," Kensington Palace announced this morning.

And we're about 99% sure we've narrowed down the list of his or her potential names to a few very likely options. How, you ask? Oh, it's very scientific.

Obviously, we took a look at a few of Will and Kate's favorite TV shows, because there is no greater inspiration for naming a child than one's favorite TV show. Just ask our future children, Olivia Claire Khaleesi Fraser and Pacey James Jon Snow-Halpert.

Will and Kate are apparently big TV fans, and their reported list of faves is long and varied: The Voice (UK), The Apprentice (UK), The X Factor (UK), Homeland, One Tree Hill, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and of course, Downton Abbey.

Royals, they're just like us, right?

Anyway, we took it upon ourselves to compile a list of all the most viable names from all of those shows (#journalism) to determine which were the most likely to be given to the world's newest royal not-quite-an-heir. Feel free to place your bets now!

Girl Names:

5. Deb (One Tree Hill)
Don't mind us, just giggling at our desks over the idea of Princess Deb. (Remember when Deb and Skills were dating on One Tree Hill? That was weird!)
4. Cora Cowell Kardashian (Downton Abbey, The X Factor, Keeping Up with the Kardashians)
Make the kid an honorary Kardashian and she can be royalty in two countries! (We kid, we kid. Sort of.)
3. Dana Scott (Gossip GirlOne Tree Hill, Homeland)
Dan Humphrey, Dan Scott and Dana Brody are three people whose names could definitely use some rehabilitation (we still cringe at the thought as Dan Humphrey as Gossip Girl!), so why not combine them into one and give that name to the luckiest baby in the world? You're welcome, Will and Kate. XOXO
2. Daisy Rose Violet (Downton Abbey)
Why yes we did just combine all the flower names from Downton into one superflowered great-smelling baby name with a ready-made decorating/fashion motif.
1. Leslie Knope (Parks and Recreation)
There is no real evidence that Kate or William watch Parks and Recreation, but they should, and in all honesty we hope this child grows up to become as awesome, positive, determined, and beautiful inside and out as Leslie Knope is, whether the baby is a boy, a girl, both, neither, or is just born as one of those fuzzy hats worn by the royal guard.

Good luck, royal daughter, whatever your name may be. We hope your taste in TV is just as silly/amazing as that of your parents.

What's your completely serious very realistic TV-related pick for the new royal baby's name? Let us know in the comments!
