Do you want to join NBCUniversal in celebrating #NoFoodWasted this Earth Week? It's super easy!

The #NoFoodWasted campaign sets out to educate the community custom green food trucks in certain cities, plus television and social media education!

Green food trucks will be giving out information and complimentary waste-free meals this week to Earth Week supporters in New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Miami and Chicago. Click here for a full food truck schedule!

If you can't make it out to the food trucks, not to worry! MSNBC is airing the U.S. tv premiere of an award winning documentary titled, "Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story" on April 22 at 10:00 pm ET!

Check out the sneak peek below!

In the film, two people are notified of the billions of dollars of perfectly good food that is wasted each year in North America and they become determined to make a difference! They quit grocery shopping completely cold turkey and live off of the type of foods that are often thrown away!

Beth Colleton, SVP, Corporate Social Responsibility, NBCUniversal stated, "NBCUniversal is in a unique position to leverage our platforms to promote an environmentally responsible and healthy future to millions of families.  We look forward to using our reach to educate people on the positive impact they can make by adopting sustainability practices in their everyday lives."

Tune in to Just Eat It, A Food Waste Story, on April 22, at 10 p.m. on msnbc.
