InstagramDemi Lovato is celebrating 4/20, an unofficial holiday honoring marijuana culture.
While the "Really Don't Care" singer won't be lighting up herself, given that she's been sober for several years, the event is making 22-year-old Lovato feel nostalgic. In fact, the pop star shared a Miley Cyrus-esque photo collage via her Instagram account Monday, writing, "In honor of our former escapades, I thought you'd like this to remember your first blaze.. Happy #420 @joejonas. #disneyhighclassof09."
Lovato tagged Cyrus and Joe Jonas in the post.
Fun fact: The picture of Lovato and Cyrus was taken in 2009, when the singer-actresses teamed up with the Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez as part of Disney's Friends for Change environmental initiative.
Cyrus has yet to respond to Lovato's Instagram post, but she did post a picture of herself wearing nipple pasties and lighting up a bong. "Happy 420," she wrote on Instagram. "#goodstarttodabestdayofdayear."
In 2013, Jonas revealed that he "smoked weed" for the "first time" with Cyrus and Lovato. The Camp Rock star also claimed they peer pressured him into getting high. "I must have been 17 or 18," he wrote in a New York magazine essay. "They kept saying, 'Try it! Try it!' so I gave it a shot, and it was all right."
Jonas added, "I don't even smoke weed that often anymore."
Before the article came out, Jonas told E! News he warned the parties involved.
"I had the opportunity to talk with Demi beforehand and a few other people in my family, and obviously something like this is going to be jarring, but Demi and I have a really strong friendship," he said. "I would obviously never want to hurt her."
How did his famous ex-girlfriend feel about his essay?
"Well, first I was like, 'Umm, we need to talk,' and then we talked and I was fine. I was like, 'Look, I'm not mad at you but you need to choose your words more carefully next time,'" Lovato told E! News, adding, "He meant no harm and he's never had a chance to tell his side of the story, so I'm proud of him."
