Gone, but certainly not forgotten.

More than seven years after Heath Ledger's tragic death, his sister Kate Ledger is speaking out and updating fans on his daughter Matilda.

As it turns out, Michelle Williams remains a hands-on parent that receives praise from many of Heath's immediate family.

"Michelle really does keep things real for her," Kate told the Sunday Telegraph via The Daily Mail. " And her existence, although different from most, is as normal as possible in an abnormal world."

When Heath passed away in 2008, Matilda was just two years old. Because of her young age, some may wonder how much she remembers about her famous father.

Luckily, Kate is happy to share stories about her brother who starred in many films including The Dark Knight and Brokeback Mountain.

"'I love telling [Matilda] stories about her daddy and how he grew up," she shared. "I think it's so important for her to have a good sense of where she comes from in order for her to get to know herself."

As for her personality today, all signs point to a normal, energetic girl who keeps mommy busy.

"She's got his energy," Kim Ledger recently told Australian news channel, Channel 10. "Heath never slept from when he was two and Matilda's like that. She's just got this ball of energy and she radiates this little aura."

He added, "Heath was kind of like that. So it's fabulous really."
