We thought this was a show about Real Housewives, not Real Househusbands.

If you were expecting a Real Housewives of Atlanta finale filled with confrontations, fights and a whole lot of feuds, you weren't going to find it Sunday night.

Instead, it was the ladies' husbands that helped stir the pot and bring some much-needed suspense to the final episode of the season.

When Peter Thomas gave wife Cynthia Bailey a tour of his new coffee shop appropriately titled Peter's Brew, guess who happened to call at the perfect time when cameras were rolling? Hello, is this Apollo Nida?

"I still haven't seen my children," Apollo shared with Peter. "I'm still holding up."

Holding up and trying to figure out any way to have his two sons pay a visit. While Phaedra Parks reminded viewers that the prison has strict rules and a trip to Kentucky from Atlanta isn't exactly a walk in the park, Apollo couldn't help but share his frustrations about not seeing his boys for six weeks.

"Whether I choose to have my children see their father in prison or if I don't take them, someone is going to be unhappy," Phaedra explained. "It's a no-win situation."

Another big hurdle Apollo must accept is the fact that his wife is ready to divorce him and move on as a single mother. While he asks Cynthia and Peter to possibly reach out to Phaedra on his behalf, it appears the self-proclaimed Southern Belle has already made up her mind.

"I'm moving on with my life and my sons are going on with their lives," she confessed. "We're going to be survivors."

The three-part Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion begins Sunday at 8 p.m. only on Bravo.
