Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene gave fans an unexpected treat Thursday when they bumped into each other at the Lakers game. The spur-of-the-moment reunion was everything Twilight fans needed, knowing that Robert Pattinson is officially off the market.
"Reunited with Kel at the Lakers game #lovethisone #family," Greene captioned her pic on Instagram.
It's the little things in life that keep us Twihards going, and seeing Greene and Lutz maintain their friendship just makes our hearts pound! We can only hope the whole gang comes back together at some point for an awesome photo opp, but now that Nikki Reed and R.Pattz are both set to tie the knot, it seems unlikely that a full Twilight reunion will ever happen.
Plus, they all have moved on in their careers, starring in other movies and TV shows. Kristen Stewart dished in a recent interview that the vampire franchise isn't even on her radar anymore. The 24-year-old actress agreed wholeheartedly agreed with the reporter about the franchise seeming far from her mind. "Completely," she said. "I only have to think about that when someone asks me."
Even though she starred in five films from 2008-2012, Stewart has put them behind her. But that doesn't mean she isn't grateful for the opportunity the series gave her. Last October, E! News asked the actress how life had changed post-Twilight. "It's difficult to answer that question," she said. "On an exceptionally obvious note, it's opened a lot of doors, but I've become who I am because of that. It was five years of my life."
Being part of a series like Twilight can leave stars open to criticism, which this cast definitely faced over the years, but the Still Alice actress doesn't let it bring her down. "Anybody who wants to talk s--t about Twilight, I completely get it, but there's something there that I'm endlessly, and to this day, f--king proud of," she told Smith. "My memory of it felt—still feels—really good."
If it feels that good, give the people what they want!
