Kendall Jenner knows nothing except life in front of the cameras.

Literally growing up in front of America's eyes on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kendall has been in front of a lens for the majority of her life—first with reality TV and now as an elite supermodel walking runways and posing for magazines. But in her latest photo shoot with GQ, the 19-year-old is dishing on what it's like to have every moment of her life preserved for others to enjoy.

"It's really weird. I understand that it's not normal," she explains. "But it is normal."

The KUWTK cameras appeared in her home when she was just 10 years old, so she tells the mag that she didn't really have a choice in the matter whether or not she would appear on the show that would launch their family to fame because, as she explains, her sisters and mother chose that life.

"Me and my little sister [Kylie Jenner] were placed in," the supermodel says. "Like, 'Okay, there's gonna be a TV show around.' We didn't have a say. And how could we have a say? It was in our home. There was no way we couldn't be on it."

Despite not having a choice, the brunette beauty admits she can't decide whether or not she would change things given the opportunity. "If someone was like, 'Do you...?' Honestly, I can't answer that question. I have no idea. I don't remember. I was 10 years old when the TV show started. I don't remember what it was like before."

Although the E! star has witnessed her fair share of criticism, with people accusing her of only becoming a successful model because of her famous moniker, others in the business would disagree as would Kendall, who reportedly removed her last name from business cards to separate herself.

"I didn't do it because I felt like I had to prove something," she says. "This is a career that I've always wanted. And I mean, what else would I be doing? I probably would have gone to school to get the degree to go to work, when work was already there."

So why haven't KUWTK viewers witnessed her walk down the catwalk on the show? Because she intentionally made it that way. "I told them from the beginning, I was like, 'Okay, love you guys, but we're not gonna do this. You're not gonna follow me to shows, you're not gonna be with me on this ride.'"

She spends a lot of her time being recorded, so it's no wonder she can't fathom a life without them. "It's actually really hard for me to think of," she says. "But that day will come, and it'll be fine."
