Zoe Saldana is keeping it real.

The actress isn't sugar coating anything about her mission to shed the baby (ahem, babies!) weight, in fact, she's been super forthcoming about how difficult it's been to find the time to work out in the gym.

In her most recent post on Facebook, the mother of twin boys admitted that she had been procrastinating as of late, saying, "I made it! After a week of postponing my workout due to life & meetings & work, I prioritized it. I prioritized myself. A good friend once told me that being self-focused doesn't necessarily mean you are being selfish. Be self-focused!"

And just a few days ago, she shared a photo of herself jogging on a treadmill along with a lengthy message about her body's journey post-pregnancy.

Saldana called the birth of her boys "by far the most amazing experience of my life, but also a very challenging experience when it pertains to my body."

"Bouncing back feels impossible, but I know it is important as a woman, and now a mommy, to not give up. I am determined to get my energy back and find balance for my body before these little guys start walking, and before I go back to work...my clock is ticking!" she wrote.

"2 months ago I started my journey, and it's been REAL- I'm not gonna lie- it is slow...painful...and frustrating. But it is worth it."

The actress further explained how she's been working with her trainer since January and that her first workout was "painful."

"I had no flexibility, weak joints…We started with just walked. I think I only walked that first month," she revealed.

"I did however change the way I eat. I began to make better choices with my food…I want to prove to myself that if I have the right determination I can do anything."
