We've got all the exclusive details on North West's baptism in Israel!
Earlier today, Kim Kardashian had her 1-year-old daughter baptized at St. James Cathedral in the Armenian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. A source tells E! News the religious ceremony was ‘'so special.''
So who did Kim name as Nori's godmother? Little sister Khloé Kardashian, of course! The insider tells us that Khloé acted as godmother during the baptism and the priest acted as North's godfather (this is a common practice when there isn't one). After being baptized, the whole family emerged from the church around 6:30 p.m. local time.
After the special ceremony, Kim and hubby Kanye West, Khloé and North all had dinner with Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat. Barkat and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars enjoyed an "intimate" dinner at Mona Restaurant.
A source tells us that Kanye and the mayor talked about Israel and some of the beautiful and historic things to do in the Holy Land. The famous family was really nice to anyone that greeted them inside the restaurant and outside. Kanye loved the food, and they all wanted to try all different dishes from the menu.
As for Khloé, the 30-year-old was really excited to be there and experience everything from the day. North was in great spirits but got a bit restless after the long day of sightseeing.
The source also tells us there are rumors that Kanye may have another surprise performance like he did in Armenia.
Kim, Kanye, Khloé and North are only scheduled to stay in Jerusalem one night and will likely visit the Dead Sea on Tuesday.
