Long before her entrance into the Twitter-verse and subsequent self-declaration as a "pantsuit aficionado," Hillary Clinton left little doubt that she was, well, a pantsuit aficionado.

Tangerine, candy apple red, lemon yellow—the former Secretary of State hasn't found a juicy hued suit that she hasn't just loved. And why should she? They're her staple!

Mrs. Clinton's pantsuit kick isn't anything new, after all. Just as Jackie Kennedy had her pill box hats and Nancy Reagan collected her slew of little red dresses, so did Hilary declare her FLOTUS trademark to be the powerful suit sets. Her passion for pantsuits began in the early '90s, and since she's treated the American political scene to a stylish parade of rainbow-hued suits. From her time as a Senator to her 2008 presidential campaign bid, Mrs. Clinton has made it very clear that her beloved style is just as much a part of her as her true-blue politics.

"I'm grateful to Glamour because they liked my pantsuits, and that was one of the highlights of my presidential campaign," she told the crowd at Glamour's Women of the Year awards.

And while not everyone is gaga over her pantsuit prowess (ahem, David Letterman), Hillary herself isn't afraid to kid about her favorite fashion.

"In my White House, we'll know who wears the pantsuits!" she quipped on a 2008 taping of The Late Show with David Letterman

And with her hat officially in the ring for the 2016 presidential race, we're expecting this colorful pantsuit parade to keep going strong!
