Selena Gomez has never looked this sexy—and it's due in large part to her friend, photographer and makeup artist Jake Bailey. The "Come & Get It" singer, 22, shared two sexy shots from a recent photo shoot via Instagram Thursday. Gomez modeled a soaking wet swimsuit, and yes, those are her nipples.
"Selena and I did this shoot in her backyard after work a couple weeks ago. We finished work early and it was a beautiful day. I always have my camera with me so we decided to take some pictures just for fun," Bailey tells E! News exclusively. "Selena styled herself, I did the makeup, and we used natural light."
Bailey adds, "It was just the two of us, but we wanted it to be radiant and sexy."
Mission accomplished!
So, how did Bailey shape the "I Want You to Know" singer's look?
"I wanted her makeup to glow so I used all liquid and cream products and zero powder. All of the eye makeup of course had to be waterproof. I started by buffing a tiny bit of Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation all over her face and neck using an Ulta Velvet Luxe Foundation Brush. I added warmth to her cheeks with La Prairie Cellular Radiance Cream Blush in Peach Glow and added dimension using the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Palette in Intensity One to bronze her cheeks and to contour and highlight her bone structure. I lined her upper lash line with CoverGirl Liquiline Blast Liner in Black Fire and added a warm smoky brown cream shadow to her lids. I used a combination of Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadow in Mirage and the Ash & Ember Eye Soot in Obsidian by the brand Rituel de Fille."
"I used the darker eye soot as an all over base and added highlights to the lids using the Chanel cream," Bailey adds. "I completed the eyes with a coat of waterproof Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara and coated her lips with L'Oréal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche lip color in Scarlet Concerto."
As a finishing touch, Bailey glazed her body with Eucerin Intensive Repair Body Lotion. "It gives an incredible sheen but without any sparkles or glitter," he says.
