The only thing Lip Sync Battle was missing Thursday was a Meryl Streep cameo.

The Devil Wears Prada co-stars Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway starred in the third episode of the Spike TV series, hosted by LL Cool J and featuring colorful commentary from model Chrissy Teigen. Before the longtime friends revealed their first songs, though, Blunt and Hathaway did a little trash talking on stage.

For their first entries, the actresses did without the bells and whistles.

Hathaway opened the show with Mary J. Blige's "Love." The highlight? When she slayed the rap verse. The crowd ate it up, but Blunt wasn't fazed by her competitor. "I'm not concerned. I mean, I'm all right. I mean, I thought it was cheap to have done all that stuff," she said, gyrating her hips like Hathaway. "It's easy."

Hathaway fired back, "To be fair, guys, Emily knows cheap!"

"Did you know that Anne was going to come out here and deliver...that?" LL Cool J asked. Blunt replied, "I thought she was going to do a show tune, to be honest."

For her debut, Blunt went "old school" with Blackstreet's "No Diggity." Like Hathaway, she proved to be a skilled rapper, particularly during Da Brat's verse.

"Do you know what 'I gotta bag it up'...Do you know what that means?" LL Cool J asked. Blunt joked, "I mean, it's something filthy, but...She told you! I'm cheap!"

Hathaway then returned to the stage to pull a Kanye West. "Hold on! Sorry! I'm a let you finish. I love Beyoncé," she said, mocking the 2009 MTV VMAs incident involving Taylor Swift. "I'm happy for you. I'm really happy for you."

"No you're not! No you're not!" Blunt told her. "Sick!"

Later in the show, Hathaway covered Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" while Blunt took on Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart." But don't worry, E! News won't reveal who won—that's what DVRs and streaming videos are for, right?

Next week, Blunt's husband John Krasinski will challenge Anna Kendrick.

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike TV.
