What happens when Netflix assembles Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda for a new comedy from the co-creator of Friends? Grace and Frankie happens.

The Netflix original comedy hails from Friends' Marta Kauffman and stars the 9 to 5 pals as two frenemies of sorts who are suddenly very much in each others lives when their husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) announce they're gay and in love with each other.

"We want to talk to you about something. Sol and I are in love," Sheen's Robert says.

"Excuse me?" Fonda's Grace says.

"You're gay?" Tomlin's Frankie asks.

"We want to get married," Waterston's Sol says.

"Married?!" Grace shouts.

"Because we can do that now," Robert says.

"I know! I hosted that fundraiser," Frankie says.

This is going to be so good. And yep, each one of the four leads has Emmys in case you were keeping track. The cast also includes Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael, Brooklyn Decker and Baron Vaughn.

Take a moment and watch the hilarious trailer now. Grace and Frankie eventually move in together and of course hijinks ensue. Would you have it any other way?

Guest stars in the first season include Mary Kay Place, Christine Lahti, Ernie Hudson, Joe Morton and Geoff Stults.

All episodes debut on Netflix on May 8. So the question now is, "Is it May 8 yet?"
