Kelly Clarkson's baby girl may want to prepare herself for a little brother!

While the American Idol winner certainly isn't pregnant, the "Heartbeat Song" singer is admitting in a new interview that she's already thinking about baby No. 2 and whether she wants another daughter or a son.

"My body shut down when I'm pregnant, it was the worst. It was really hard, just physically couldn't stop vomiting," she said on Zach Sang & the Gang's radio show. "Honestly the only reason I am hoping for a boy is because they usually say if you're sick with a girl, you won't be with the boy. And if you are sick with the boy, you won't be with the girl."

She added, "I'm purely hoping it is a boy so I can have the most magically wonderful pregnancy."

Before you suggest Clarkson isn't crazy about her baby girl, we're here to tell you that couldn't be farther from the truth.

Whether hanging out backstage at her concert or enjoying nap time with mommy and daddy, River Rose can't help but light up her parent's world. But no matter how good of a baby she may be, this little cutie won't be found in Clarkson's bed.

"A friend of mine was like, ‘Our kid sleeps with us every night; it's this whole new way of life,' which is great for her," Clarkson shared in an interview with Radio Disney set to air Friday. "But in my world, we're sleeping. I don't want my kid rolling over and hitting me in the face. That's not good sleep."

Sounds like this baby is quite the "Miss Independent."

"She's been in her own bed, she's never slept with us ever," Clarkson added. "I'm just very adamant about that, even to create her independence and her own identity and to be safe in her own room. I don't want to create a kid that's stuck to my leg."

And while Clarkson is hoping for a baby boy for her next child, she's still all about the ladies. When asked if she could form the ultimate girl group, the 32-year-old had a clever idea.

"That depends on if you go Destiny's Child or Dixie Chicks," she explained. "Yeah she does sing, she has a song out and I just think we would get along. That is Jennifer Lawrence. I think it would be fun." Katniss forever!
