Mariah Carey is sadly going through another split.

Her longtime publicist, Hollywood powerhouse Cindi Berger, has called it quits from the "Always Be My Baby" diva after 15 years of working together. Berger confirmed the split to Page Six, saying, "I have enormous respect for Mariah. She is one of the great talents and voices of our time, and I wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors."

Co-chairman and CEO of PMK•BNC, Berger added that although their professional relationship has come to a close, they remain amicable. "I care very deeply for her personally, but I felt that professionally it was time for us to move on."

The Chambers group is now representing Carey, E! News confirms.

She is set to take over Caesars Palace May 6, where she will perform 18 of her No. 1 hits. Ellen DeGeneres revealed that five-time Grammy Award winner will perform smashes like "We Belong Together," "Visions of Love," "Emotions," "Fantasy," "Dream Lover," and "One Sweet Day," and the diva announced that she will also perform "Don't Forget About Us" and "Touch My Body," among other hits.

"It's a new chapter for me, and I'm so excited," Carey said while appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Berger's departure comes on the heels of the announcement that Carey and rumored boyfriend Brett Ratner are developing a Christmas film in which the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer would star. It will be written by writers David Diamond and David Weissman and produced by Jon Shestack.

Carey's experience with films certainly has been touch and go, as her first movie, Glitter, was panned by pretty much everyone, including fans, but her appearance in Precious received critical acclaim. The plot has been kept under wraps, but Deadline reported "Christmas is at the film's center, along with a theme of how the power of music can transport you back in time to your truest and most authentic feelings."

The movie will also reportedly feature some of Carey's classic holiday songs, along with tunes from other artists.
