Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder were spotted packing on the PDA while out shopping together. The Vampire Diaries star gave his Twilight actress fiancée a smooch on the lips before going their separate ways. Reed looked trendy in jeans, a black top and matching black hat while Somerhalder donned his staple fedora with a grey T-shirt and jeans.
Although they haven't tied the knot yet, both look as happy as newlyweds! Then again, between winning awards for their work with nonprofits and planning a wedding, they both have a lot to be thankful for. That's why it wasn't too surprising when Reed told E! News that "life is good" for the happy couple right now.
"Quite happy right now, thank you," the radiant actress confirmed, smiling broadly as she showed off her impressive engagement bling. "...But yes, we're very happy and life is good, and I'm a very lucky lady."
The two often put their love on display, but not always with PDA. Only a few weeks ago the engaged duo posted heartfelt tributes to each other on Instagram before attending the Humane Society Gala in Miami together.
She can't help but gush about her happiness and her fiancé (even though they don't use that term), having told us that the former Lost actor is simply "the best."
"He's the most thoughtful human being on the planet," Reed told E! News while hosting the Third Annual Catdance Film Festival event at Sundance. But since they're so in love, we had to ask whether or not children would be on the horizon for them. It turns out their pets make for a great warm up! (They adopted two kitten and a horse together).
"I think animals are great training for that," she laughed, adding, "You certainly learn how to clean up after yourself and pick up a lot of poop."
