There will be more Mad Men. A rep for the network tells me, "The show will remain on AMC. It will come back next season." However, the powers that be are still in negotiations with Mad genius Matt Weiner, which means it is hypothetically possible (unlikely, not to mention unjust on a grand scale, but possible) for season three to go forward without him.

The network rep adds, "Just you wait until you see the final two episodes. Waterworks." Hmmm...There's no crying in baseball or Don Draper, so who the heck is going to be tearing up? Well, for one, the fans, actors, crew and writers if Matt Weiner is not given his due for creating one of the best shows of modern times! Argh.

Check out a vid of Sunday's ep below, handicap the tearjerking possibilities for the finale and a Weiner-less season three in the comments, and be sure to tune in this Sunday and next at 10 p.m. on AMC.
