Travis Barker's recovery does indeed compute.
"Just another quick one to let everyone know that I think Im getting out of the hospital soon," he says in a "Hospital Update" posted this morning.
"I can't wait to get out of here and be home with the babes," the father of two writes. "The doctors say Im healing up quickly and I'm gonna be out of here b4 you know it."
The former Blink-182 drummer, who has undergone seven surgeries total and is currently being treated at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, Calif., has even begun his transition back to healthy rock star mode, indulging in A-list creature comforts like Beverly Hills delivery and visits from star pals.
Posted alongside his condition update, Barker, who suffered second- and third-degree burns in the Sept. 19 Learjet crash, included several photos of his hospital room, including shots of him with visiting rapper pals The Game and Sticks, and with some "rad food" from famed eatery Matsuhisa, "MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!" writes Barker.
Barker also took time out to shoot down reports that his hospital treatment was anything less than stellar.
"The staff here is THE BEST, but this is what I have to say to hospital life," he adds, posting underneath a photograph of his tattooed and obviously burned hand flipping the bird.
There's the Barker we know and love.
