Let's just say Zach Galifianakis and Kristen Wiig don't exactly think things through.

The actors are teaming up for the upcoming movie Masterminds, a comedy from Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess. And based on the first trailer, they aren't the smartest tools in the shed.

Things kick off with a bang when the pair heads to a shooting range to practice their skills. When Galifianakis tries to pop his gun behind his back, things don't go as planned.

"I think the bullet went straight between your cheeks," Wiig suggests after a big bang goes off! Ouch!

Things don't look any brighter when the twosome tries to drive their way through a gated home in a mini convertible. Perhaps they should have tried to buzz in first.

The action-packed thriller is centered around police looking into one of the largest cash heists ever seen on American soil. More than $17 million was stolen and officials literally have no leads as to who could be responsible for the crime.

In an added twist, the entire film is actually based on a true story. Yes, that part of the trailer was not an April Fools' Day joke, folks.

Instead, the flick takes its storyline from the Loomis Fargo robbery that took place in North Carolina less than ten years ago. A bank employee and a former co-worker stole millions from a cash handling corporation but were later caught thanks to their sloppy getaway plan.

Watch all the mistakes on the big screen for yourself when the film hits theaters this summer.
