Hilary Duff is coming back in a big way! Gone are the days of Lizzie Maguire (still sad) but hello is the era of Younger, her new show on TV Land, and a new album! The "Come Clean" singer spoke to E! News exclusively about not only what we can expect from her in the upcoming months but also how motherhood has changed her.

Mom to son Luca, Duff admits that her little boy takes after her in a way that she never expected! "He is spunky," she dished. "He is pretty spunky and he is a little dramatic. I don't blame his dad for that at all! I think it comes from me, but I love it!"

Her 3-year-old son has brought her more happiness than she could have ever imagined, and she said watching him grow up has become the most rewarding part of her life.

"[Luca] is amazing and his personality is so bright and he is so sweet," she gushed to us. "His little spirit...I don't have words to describe it, but I am so proud of the kid that he is, and he is so well balanced! I never thought having a kid would bring me so much joy!"

Although the Younger actress exercises a lot to maintain her amazing body, she also revealed that she isn't someone who stresses about eating healthy all the time...she cheats just like the rest of us! As for her cheat meal of choice? Wine and cheese! We're right there with you, Hilary.

"I just think balance," she said when asked about any special workouts she might be doing these days. "I am the worst dieter ever and I indulge all the time."

"I love cheese and wine, and that's just something I can't cut out of my life," she added. "I want to be happy and those things make me happy so it's all about balance and working hard."

Preach!

But when it comes to feeling good, the singer-actress revealed it's all about how you feel on the inside—not the outside. "It's obviously important to work hard and eat right and take care of yourself, but being at peace with your flaws is a really sexy thing," she said.

For those itching to find out when Hilary is going to bless her fans with her vocals again, rest easy! She dished to us all about her next single and her album, which is only a short wait away.

"My record is almost done I am just waiting on one song," she said. "It's so exciting it's taken me a long time and I appreciate everyone's patience with getting this record out. The single is called 'Sparks' and it comes out Apr. 7, and I am shooting a video next week in LA...I went to Sweden and it really breathed a lot of life into the record and got it on track on where it needed to be, and I can't wait for everyone to hear it."
