It wouldn't be a Real Housewives reunion without a littler drama, especially when it comes to the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. No, there weren't any vicious attacks with scepters and hair-pulling, but there were plenty of tears.

E! News can confirm NeNe Leakes did indeed get up and walk out of the reunion. "She cried. You know, this has been a rough season on her and the reunion just rehashes all that," a source spilled. "At one point, she got very emotional." Just don't call her walk-off a "diva move."

"She just needed a breather, a break. It was maybe 30 minutes or so. The cast also took some extra time to take a break," our source revealed. "It was refreshing to see NeNe show some emotion. In the past, she's been very guarded at reunions. This time, you'll see something different from her."

NeNe is following up this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta with a new show alongside pal Kim Zolciak Biermann and she told us she's looking forward to a break from the Housewives drama.

"Well, one of the things I'm most excited about is working with Kim, just the two of us," NeNe told E! News after NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches was announced at Bravo, Oxygen and Esquire's Upfront presentation in New York. "I just left Housewives where I was working with like, six monsters."

But back to the reunion! There were a ton of jabs thrown by various ladies, as per usual and don't be surprised when Demetria McKinney doesn't show up. "She really didn't register at all this season. There wasn't a need for her to be there," our source said.

And the seating arrangements may surprise you, but it wasn't a source of drama. "Claudia [Jordan], for example, didn't expect to be seated on the same couch as Phaedra and NeNe. But there wasn't a lot of drama over it," we're told.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion is set to air in the coming weeks. The series regularly airs Sundays, 8 p.m. on Bravo.
