Well hello post-baby body.

Olivia Wilde is serving some serious sex appeal on the cover of Shape's April 2015 issue, and she's also opening up in the mag about what it took to trim her figure after baby. (Wilde shares son Otis, 11 months, with fellow actor Jason Sudeikis.) And we gotta know too, considering the hot mama has never looked better.

The actress writes a personal essay in which she describes feeling like the "walking wounded" after Otis' April 2014 arrival, quipping, "After giving birth, I joined the ranks of millions of new mothers when I moaned, ‘Why do I still look pregnant? Is there another one stuck in there?"

The actress is quick to admit that she's not completely back to her old self and, what's more, she's fine with that.

"I am not in perfect shape. In fact, I'm softer than I've ever been, including that unfortunate semester in high school when I simultaneously discovered Krispy Kreme and pot. The photos of me in this magazine have been generously constructed to show my best angles and I assure you, good lighting has been warmly embraced. The truth is, I'm a mother, and I look like one."

(While we like that Olivia is keeping it 100, we still contend that she looks amazing for being just under a year out of pregnancy.)

Part of what may have helped Olivia bounce back? She kept fit during her pregnancy with Otis, admitting she did SoulCycle at eight and a half months and Pilates throughout.

"I loved being pregnant. I felt unapologetically curvy, sexy, and intensely feminine. My experience was great, largely because I stayed very strong throughout. Pilates became a healthy habit, which helped me avoid common pregnancy woes like sciatica," she said.

And yeah, she goes there with her post-birth experience.

"First of all, you haven't seen your vagina in months, even though it's all her fault you're in this situation," Olivia writes. "Now that you can finally confirm that she is, in fact, still there, she isn't the gal you remember, and would rather you back off and give her some space (and an ice diaper) for the time being...That gorgeous bump you proudly paraded around town for some 40 weeks has only retreated slightly after the birth. Now it's a lot like a partially deflated pool toy."

"But luckily, that part doesn't last long," she continues. "Basically, for the first few months, your body has that covered, and you can just let it do the work while you focus on keeping the kid alive and occasionally washing your hair. Breast-feeding helps, in the most intense way."

Whew: All that made us wonder if another little one could be in Olivia and Jason's future. Well, we'd almost bet on it thanks to this sweet tidbit.

"[Otis came] two weeks earlier than expected—an extreme adventure that is definitely not for the faint of heart," Olivia revealed. "That day was wild, but weirdly I can't wait to do it again." Aw!
