Four days after Zayn Malik announced he was leaving One Direction, Blake Lively's husband decided to voice his true feelings about the new boy band dynamics. It's safe to say he's still in the grieving process, too.
"How sad are you about Zayn leaving One Direction?" one random follower tweeted to the actor. Well, since you asked, he's going to answer!
"I refuse to believe this," he proclaimed Sunday night. "That's like Taylor Swift leaving Taylor Swift." Oh, now you got the Swifties upset too, Ryan.
When Zayn announced his departure last week, he assured fans that his experience with the band was nothing but a positive one. He simply wanted to step away from the public eye. "I have to do what feels right in my heart," the singer said in a statement. "I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."
While Ryan continues to go through the five stages of One Direction grief, other pop stars are showing their support for the X-Factor U.K. alum.
Before hosting the 2015 Kids' Choice Awards, Nick Jonas expressed his understanding of what Malik was experiencing after so much success. "It's always tough…there's never an easy time to make a decision like that," he told E! News. "I commend him for doing what he feels is right for him and you got to stay true to yourself."
Others, however, are just as upset as Ryan. Yes, we're talking about you, Billy Eichner.
"Devastated. This is the first time I've left my house since then. I've been at a vigil all week long, a candlelight vigil," he joked to E! News Sunday at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards. "Zayn has a vision for his life and who are we to stop him?"
One way or another, you're going to get through this Directioners.
