Scott Disick recently left a Costa Rica rehab center but he plans to return to continue his treatment, saying he "not done working" on himself.

The 31-year-old had checked into the Rythmia Life Advancement Center earlier this month to deal with an undisclosed ailment. Disick, who had sought treatment at the facility before, left the rehab center earlier this week and was spotted back home in Los Angeles with his family. Disick was photographed with his and Kourtney Kardashian's eldest children, Mason, 5, and Penelope, 2, on Tuesday.

Disick, whose battle with alcohol and drug issues was documented on Kourtney & Khloé Take The Hamptons,  talked about his recovery and rehab progress in an interview with E! News on Friday at the 1OAK nightclub at the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, where he hosted a party.

"Everybody was under the impression that I was going to Costa Rica for a month for something, but the truth was I was never planning to go for a month, I was planning to go for as long as I went, which was the week, and work on myself, and I'm not done working on myself," he said. "And I actually plan to go back to the place because I think it's an amazing place."

"It's just sad that people always want to look at the negative side of things when no one really knows the true story," he added. "And you know, it is what it is, sometimes it gets in the way but no big deal."

A source had told E! News after he checked out of the rehab center that Disick expected to return to rehab "sometime soon as part of his ongoing therapy."

A day before he was spotted with their kids, Kardashian told E! News her beau was "doing well" in rehab.

"Yeah, she's supportive," Disick said at 1OAK. "I mean, look, everyone knows I've struggled in the past with a lot of different things and I'm a work in progress, so any time I can try to better myself, I'm trying. But listen, I'm not perfect and I never claimed to be. I never looked perfect ever so I don't know why anyone is like 'Oh Scott is doing this' because yeah, it's no different than any other time, so."

The Rythmia Life Advancement Center (RLAC), located near the beaches of the Costa Rican province of Guanacaste, is described as "an addiction treatment resort that also treats mental health and spiritual awakening through the use of the natural plant medicine known as Iboga."

"Guided by Moughenda, a 10th generation Shaman, and the only Bwiti provider available outside of Africa, he uses the traditional way to heal your body and mind and reawaken your soul," the website states.

"I realize my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle," Disick was quoted as saying in a press release put out by the Rythmia Life Advancement Center on March 16. "While I have been unconvinced in the past of treatment and therapy methods, Rythmia's rehab approach puts my worries at ease."
