The beats go on.

In his first gig since surviving a fiery plane crash, DJ AM is back doing his thing, spinning tunes for more than two hours in support of Jay-Z's splashy performance marking the reopening of the Hollywood Palladium, Tinseltown's legendary venue.

And who was there? Let's see who showed up…

Nicky Hilton arrived with boyfriend David Katzenberg. She said she'd seen the disc jockey, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, since he'd returned to L.A. following the crash that took four lives and also badly burned Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

"It sounds cliché, but it really makes you appreciate your life and what you have, and the people in your life," said Hilton.

She also said AM will definitely make a full recovery.

Hayden Panettiere talked about using the F-word so many times during her new FunnyorDie.com video. "I love using the F-word," she boasted. "It's great. I'm from New York. I use the F-word all the time. "Actress Abbie Cornish revealed two things: First, she's a musician. "It would be a dream to work with people like Jay-Z or Kanye West sometime. I'm crossing my fingers," she said.

The other thing? She announced to a group of reporters, "Ryan Phillippe is a gorgeous guy and I love him."

Oh, really?

Among the other attendees were Ellen Pompeo, Donald Faison, the Wayans brothers, Cheech & Chong and Tyrese, who gave a shout-out to Sen. Barack Obama.

Speaking of Obama, Jay-Z had him on his mind as well. After showing a large photo of President Bush, the rapper asked the crowd, "We're voting for Obama, right?"

The audience went wild.
