Benedict Cumberbatch's new wife is finally letting us see her wedding gown—and it was worth the wait!

Sophie Hunter donned a Valentino confection with long, sheer sleeves and floor-sweeping floral-lace train to her Valentine's Day wedding. (So fitting, so dreamy.) The gown, which is an ethereal silver hue, was custom-made for the occasion. Stunning snaps of Sophie in her bridal gown, which were shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, will be featured in next month's Vogue.

"Beautiful Sophie Hunter with Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli prepping her couture dress for her March wedding to Benedict Cumberbatch. #magicmoment#sophiehunter#benedictcumberbatch photographed by #AnnieLeibovitz for @voguemagazine," the brand wrote alongside the photo. (Contrary to this caption, however, we do know that the couple married on the day of love.)

The happy pair will welcome their first child this summer. Since their February nuptials, we've spotted Sophie, her growing bump and Benedict on their honeymoon (which included a scenic ride up the Pacific Coast), at the airport, posing at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars bash and meeting Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace for a dinner to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Other brides to wear non-white Valentino bridal gowns include Anne Hathaway and Elizabeth Taylor (Hathway sported an airy pink creation that was personally designed by bestie—and frequent red carpet collaborator—Valentino Garavani).
