Exactly two weeks ago, Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller took over Paris Fashion Week when they strutted their stuff in the Valentino runway show to announce Zoolander 2.
Looking back on the experience, Stiller can't believe he did such a thing.
"It was kind of surreal. It was sort of exciting," he told E! News at the premiere of While We're Young. "I mean, we've never done anything like that before, to be in an actual fashion show."
It's hard to imagine for an actor who helped bring model Derek Zoolander to life on the big screen. But even with designer studs and your close co-star by your side, it was still a wild experience.
"That was kind of intimidating. You don't want to trip. You want to get to the end," he shared. "It's like Green Mile. It's really like that. There's no electric chair at the end. There's just starving models waiting for you, but it's definitely an intense experience."
Zoolander 2 is expected to follow Stiller's fictional character as he is forced to reinvent himself in the ever-changing world of male modeling. Penélope Cruz and Will Ferrell are also slated to star in the highly anticipated sequel.
Away from the runway, Stiller is focused on being the coolest dad ever. Recently, he was able to award his son the title of official ball-boy at the NBA All Star game. In fact, he was given the chance to high-five LeBron James.
And Stiller promises it was really his son that wanted to meet the basketball great, not him.
"Really try to do things with your kids that they enjoy doing as opposed to what you enjoy doing," he shared with E! News. "That's the thing I've learned recently. That's the way you're going to connect with them as opposed to trying to do what you like."
